Sales of pure electric vehicles or Electric Vehicles (EV) from the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company experienced an increase in the first half of 2021, compared to sales last year. However, the global market is experiencing stiff competition with the United States and China.
Quoted by Antara news agency from the Korean news agency, Yonhap, Hyundai Motor Company ranked sixth for global EV sales in the January-June period, or down one place from fifth position last year.
According to industry tracker SNE Research data as quoted by Antara news agency, Hyundai's global EV sales jumped 75.6 percent to 51,300 units in the first six months of this year. But its market share fell to 2.9 percent from 4.5 percent during this period. Read More.....
